Bright Futures covers direct and indirect services for young children (birth-5) and their families. We recognize the challenges modern parents encounter and hope to assist with programs, materials, ideas or a helpful ear. We work WITH parents and providers to build strong foundations for school and life.

State, local and federal funds support programs for 3-5 year olds. We have blended classrooms of typically developing children and those children identified as having a disability. Class sizes range from 15 to 20 with at least 2 adults in a class. Children need to go through a screening process (Learning Check-Up) to determine eligibility. The program enrolls children who have been identified as eligible. Over 400 children are served across the county each year.

Partners in Parenting
We work with parents during the critical early years of their children's lives, from pregnancy to age 3. We strongly believe that parents are their child's first and most important teacher. Parents are supported by Parents As Teachers (PAT) Certified Parent Educators who provide information about child development, parenting practices and community resources.
