The Resource Link Department provides care coordination services for children and adolescents in the fields of mental and behavioral health. We help families find resources for their children. We schedule an intake appointment with each family and complete an assessment with parents to find out what problems they are having. We then discuss all of the options of resources in the area for meeting the needs of that family. We make referrals to the service providers to ensure that families are able to access the necessary resources.

The Office of General Assistance offers financial help to qualifying adults that do not have dependent children, in order to help pay rent, utilities, basic household necessities. Rental assistance can only be paid to those landlords who have properties that are registered with the City of Galesburg. Applicants and recipients will be expected to look for gainful employment, complete training assignments and participate in workfare activities. Applicants that are mentally or physically disabled must provide medical documentation to be exempt from the community work program.
