Family Crisis Services

Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank provides diapers to social service organizations and government agencies (such as schools) that are already helping families in need through comprehensive programs and services. Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank has found that distributing diapers in this way ensures they reach those who need them most. It also provides partnering organizations a resource – diapers – they are not normally able to provide, increasing the services they can offer.

The Head Start program is a national program that promotes school readiness of low-income children by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development through the provision of health, educational, nutritional, social, family, parent involvement and other services that are determined, based on family needs assessments, to be necessary.

Prairie State Legal Services offers free legal services for low income persons and those over 60 who have serious civil legal problems and need legal help to solve them.

Our mission is "to provide or coordinate the delivery of high quality legal services to low-income individuals, families and groups."

Throughout its history, Prairie State has focused on providing legal services to the most vulnerable groups in our society, including the poor, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Bright Futures covers direct and indirect services for young children (birth-5) and their families. We recognize the challenges modern parents encounter and hope to assist with programs, materials, ideas or a helpful ear. We work WITH parents and providers to build strong foundations for school and life.

Bridgeway, Inc is a comprehensive human services organization providing a wide array of services for people of all ages and all abilities so that each and every individual that we serve can improve their quality of life, can achieve their dreams and achieve their goals.

The Resource Link Department provides care coordination services for children and adolescents in the fields of mental and behavioral health. We help families find resources for their children. We schedule an intake appointment with each family and complete an assessment with parents to find out what problems they are having. We then discuss all of the options of resources in the area for meeting the needs of that family. We make referrals to the service providers to ensure that families are able to access the necessary resources.

The mission of Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center is to support and respond to the needs of survivors of domestic violence and their dependents in an effort to avoid further abuse.

Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center is a non-profit community agency that provides confidential help to individuals who are experiencing violence (in all its forms)in their relationships.

In effort to maintain both the safety and well-being of children, the mission of the Knox County Child Advocacy Center is to coordinate timely, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary approaches and responses to both child sexual abuse and serious physical abuse victimization. Such activities are coordinated and provided in a safe, agency-neutral, child focused setting that is shared amongst all members of the multidisciplinary team.
